McNab was born in Southampton and was a watercolour painter, copper and wood
engraver.
He exhibited widely including Beaux Art, the Fine Art Society, Glasgow
Institute of Fine Art, the New English Art Club, the Royal Academy and the Royal
Scottish Academy
