In 1979 Pritchard returned to north Wales, where he became a part-time teacher with University College, Bangor’s extra-mural department, also teaching at Plas Tanybwich, Maentwrog. Pritchard was a member of RCamA, also exhibiting with Royal National Eisteddfod, WAC, SEA and NWG. Had regular solo shows, starting with Howard Roberts Gallery, Cardiff, in 1961, other venues including New Art Centre and Heal’s Mansard Gallery. St Michael’s Church, Ruabon, Clwyd, has a mosaic by Pritchard, whose work is in many public collections, including University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, WAC and CASW.
